kela uses a limited set of vetted third-party sub-processors to deliver the FundOS platform. Customers on the enterprise tier receive 30 days' notice of material changes. For a DPA or to receive advance notice of changes, email security@kela.com.
Cloud infrastructure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — primary compute and storage, US-East region
- DigitalOcean Spaces — encrypted deal-room document storage
- Vercel — serverless compute, edge delivery, and deployment pipeline
Database
- DigitalOcean Managed PostgreSQL — primary application database
AI / LLM providers
- Google (Gemini API) — AI inference for document analysis, ODD drafting, CIM generation, LP communications, and other on-demand AI features. Data sent to Google's API is governed by Google's API terms and is not used to train Google's models.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI inference for selected LP-facing narrative generation features. Data sent to Anthropic's API is governed by Anthropic's API terms and is not used to train Anthropic's models.
Email delivery
- SMTP / SendGrid — transactional email (account invitations, notifications, capital call notices)
Payments
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing for paying customers
Identity / authentication
- Google OAuth — SSO and Google Calendar / Gmail integration
This list is maintained on a best-efforts basis and updated when sub-processors are added or removed. Enterprise customers receive advance notice of material changes per their DPA. For the full contractual sub-processor schedule, contact security@kela.com.
